These words, which mean “Come Creator Spirit”, is the prayer of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. They express our longing for the continued outpouring of the Holy Spirit - - - - - a New Pentecost.
These words - - - Veni Creator Spiritus - - - are an integral part of the design of this beautiful symbol that we call The Cross of the Renewal. It is the International Symbol of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
As an active member of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, we ask you to prayerfully consider acquiring one or more of the products that have been customized with the symbol of the Cross of the Renewal and to encourage the members of your own prayer community to do likewise. Here are four good reasons why you should.
Firstly, by wearing or displaying this symbol, you will be making a VISIBLE PRAYER. You will become a moving billboard that proclaims our prayer - - - Veni Creator Spiritus.
Secondly, by wearing this symbol you are saying I BELONG. I am one of the 130 Million people on this earth who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. I am an active member of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
Thirdly because of its beautiful and unusual design, the Cross of the Renewal has the tendency to generate questions about it. Is it Catholic? What do the words mean? This will present you with the opportunity to EVANGELIZE.
Fourthly, by acquiring one or more of these products, you will fulfill your PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for the financial support of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, both domestically and internationally. You know that it takes money to organize Conferences, Retreats, Leadership Training Programs, etc., etc. Where is the money going to come from? If we can’t count on you, then who can we count on?
